![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Our current hypothesis is that it is a result of the queue being starved of supports so they get snatched up by teams really quickly and sometimes a team gets left searching too long. This is the top priority matchmaking issue that we're looking into right now. u/enthya what's your rank right now and what positions are you queuing as? Is 15 min unusual at your MMR level? Is the instapop the weird behavior or was it also that you waited abnormally long?Īlso, we know a small percentage of the time players get queue times that are much longer than they would normally see. Posting under top comment for visibility. Either way that kind of success rate in a reset function is bad news for algorithmic programming.Įdit: I am aware that anecdotal information is hardly crediting in any way, but I know im not the only one who feels this way about the algorithms. I found it working 40 - 50% of the time across 20 games. It leaves me wondering, so I wanted to track it. I sit there and wonder had I reset earlier would it have reset just as fast? Maybe my queue was about to enter and I just happened to attempt a reset at that specific moment (serendipitous?). Yet, resetting successfully is an incredibly frustrating feeling because it makes you wonder how much time you just wasted. I'm not trying to preach a paragraph about Riot sucking or something, I love LoL and almost all of Riot's decisions recently. When I said that, I got attacked and downvoted. What's funny is I said that there was a major error in their algorithms because resetting shouldn't make a difference if they built it well. ![]()
